Big News from BioTime – A Game Changer for the Stem Cell Industry

That's because half way around the world in Beijing, China the CEO of BioTime, Inc. (OTCBB: BTIM) Dr. Michael West was delivering some very substantial news. Hands down this is a game changer for the stem cell industry.

Why is this a game changer?
Many reasons, all of which I'll touch on in a full update early next week. But most notably this gives BioTime a direct (and immediate) channel to clinically developing and marketing its therapeutic stem cell products.
BioTime Asia will be fully streamlined. There won't be a laundry list of red tape or government intervention – it'll simply be devoted to developing life altering stem cell treatments.
And it goes without saying that since this is a wholly owned subsidiary any substantial breakthroughs that come from BioTime Asia will seamlessly and lucratively be brought back to the US market.
This is all phenomenal news.
Another key part of this Asian subsidiary is the addition of Dr. Lu Daopei. Dr Lu is another strategic addition to the BioTime Team. His expertise in the field of hematopoietic stem cell transplants is unrivaled – which means BioTime Asia will quickly bring new treatments to the market.
